This classroom is very important. Defensive Magic must be taught for later wizarding life. In this classroom students learn about horrible spells and meet dark creatures to help them prepare for what is out there.

Gorgeous library with the same marble floors that can be found in other parts of the castle. It has walls and walls of books. The top ones and be reached on a golden wheeled ladder that the librarian likes to fly around on.

Here, three greenhouses can be found. They are used for growing plants and Herbology lessons.

Two acres of beautiful Roman and Japaneze gardens stood in the back of the Beauxbaton castle. Flowers and ponds of all kinds could be found, along with large stone fountains and magical hedge mazes.

Here is the lake that is very large and beautiful. Beauxbaton water lessons such as swimming and diving take place here. Merpeople live deep in its depths along with colorful fish, but otherwise it is not home to any creatures.

Here is the little town called Prélardel Ville close to Beauxbatons. It has many shops, a post office, and a small bank. It is also connected to the floo network so fifth years who take trips there can get there easier.

The Atrium is a large hall with fireplaces connected to the floo network lining it. Halfway down is a large fountain called the Fountain of Magical Brethren.
Also, here is where the visitors come and fill out applications. The security stand registers the visitors wands before they can enter the rest of the ministry.
