Beautiful Magic Site Agreement

When you create your account at Beautiful Magic, you are agreeing to abide these rules. Failure to do so will result in banishment or some other form of punishment. We want this site to be a safe environment for all! These rules can be viewed by guests, so hopefully all guests read them before creating their account.

1.) No spamming. This includes advertising your site anywhere but the designated area! Also posting one line posts in IC [in character] areas. This is for roleplaying, not typing sentences back and forth. That can be done in OOC [out of character] areas.

2.) You must be 13 years old to register for this site. This is a proboards rule and a law! So you MUST abide it. If you are under 13 when you register for this site you could get permanently banned from every proboards site, so just wait!

3.) Please have a proper name for your character. This means you must have a first and last or at least a first name, that is capitalized! Like Paris Rosseila, not harrypotter_lover or parisrosselia. No symbols in your name either, like Paris ♥ Rosselia, or ~Paris Rosselia~

4.) No godmoddling or superhero powers. You are going to Beauxbatons academy, and you may already know "Accio" or "Levicorpus" but your character doesn't! The keyword is to 'learn.' A record will be kept of the spells you have learned and unless you have special permission you may not use any that you haven't learned in class. You also may not control someone else's character. You cannot kill them, or say they walked to the pond, or even say they looked at you funny if they are not your character! Powers other than magic and spells must be accepted by the ministry before you may roleplay with these powers.

5.) No double characters. You may only have one character on your account. Double characters are very confusing and quite annoying. Having to distinguish who is who by color codes gets others very confused and is unbearable, as there have been complaints and incidents in the past.

6.) No dark wizards. This is a fun RPG where people are supposed to have a good time. There will be no dark wizards on this site! If you start anything about a dark wizard or register yourself as a dark wizard you will be banned for a while (or forever) or have a high warning level.

7.) Please refrain from posting until you are sorted. The only exception is if you personally get permisson from the head admin, or you are applying for a job. After you have completed and PMed the sorting ceremony, you will be claimed a Beauxbaton Student. Anyone that has the symbol, 'GET SORTED' by their name means you can't post around the site. If you have not been sorted into a house yet but your name is purple, you are fine and may roleplay! You will be sorted at the sorting ceremony in the Start of Term Feast!

8.) You may only post 'Out of Character' comments in 'In Character' areas if you separate them from the roleplay, with signs such as [[OOC]] ((OOC)) or {{OOC}} It can be confused with the roleplaying otherwise. Please do not post only OOC comments in IC areas! EX: One post shouldn't be [[lol that was a funny post]] and nothing else!

9.) Be respectful! Don't argue with admins or harrass other members. If you have a disagreement with a member please take it to PM and don't be disrespectful of their opinion. You shall not swear at other people! Swearing in general should be kept to a minimum, unless it is your character swearing. If you have a disagreement with an admin take it to PM also and respect us! We will respect you in return.
